A2 Level Modern Greek (Middle School - Adult)

This class is designed for students who already have been introduced to the basics of the Greek language. Course topics include description of a friend or relative, information about a village or a town, advertisements, clothes, personal and everyday items, trips, weather, cultural festivities and events, public services, dangers, diet, studies and more. Students will develop the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills required to take the Ellinomatheia Level A2 exams.

Prerequisites: Completion of Level A1, or placement test (above)

Dimitra Salavasili, M.A.

Dimitra Salavasili was born and raised in Volos, Greece. She graduated from the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education, University of Thessaly, Greece, and completed a Postgraduate Program on learning environments and production of teaching material at the same university. She also completed a postgraduate program in special education at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. She has been teaching students of all ages for the last 10 years. Her great love besides mathematics is the etymology of words, which reveals all the richness of the language and the culture of people.
