If you're looking for a whimsical and fun class to take with your elementary school children, join Mother Melania Salem for her informal discussion class on the Beatrix Potter books! This class is designed for children up to 8 years old and their parents, but anyone who is a child at heart is welcome.  There will be twelve 50-minute classes per semester.  Each semester will feature different books, but will be self-contained.  

If you are not familiar with Beatrix Potter, or have not read many of her books, you are in for a real treat!  Her delightful and beautifully illustrated stories about bunnies, mice, and other animals include a surprising amount of food for thought about our own lives as we relate to God, family, and friends. 

We’ll begin each class by reading one of Beatrix Potter’s books, enjoy some free-ranging discussion, and conclude with some questions to help us reflect upon our own actions and decisions. 

Registration is per family. Please register using the name of the parent who will attend the class.  Multiple children from one family are welcome to attend.
