Calculus 1 and AP Calculus

Calculus is the study of the infinite, the infinitesimal, and continuous change. Topics include limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, accumulation of change, optimization problems, and surfaces of revolution.

This course is available in both standard and AP versions.  Students who register for the AP version will be given extra assignments designed to help prepare them for the AP Calculus AB exam, along with additional instruction time.

Live class sessions include interactive problem solving to ensure understanding and mastery.  Students collaborate in small groups using writing tablets to work through problems under the guidance of the instructor.

An additional $35 non-refundable deposit is required for the Math software program (per year, not per semester).

This class is open to new students for the spring semester. A list of topics covered in the fall semester is posted below. Students who have covered these fall topics are welcome to enroll for the spring: Spring Term Prerequisites
