Bible Study: The Gospel of St. Mark
“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” –Mark 1:1
We will dig in to this wonderful, straightforward, and shortest Gospel of the four, written by Mark the Apostle. We will read the verses out loud together, and study the content, the context, and the history using maps, study notes, and the commentary of the ancient Church Fathers. How GOOD it is to read the words and teaching of Jesus!
It has been a few years since Fr. David has taught a Gospel, and he is excited. He hopes you will join him, whether you are new to his classes or have taken many.
“Fr. David is such a delightful teacher! His thoughtfulness sparks students’ natural curiosity about spiritual things at the same time that his humor keeps them engaged. My daughter has learned a whole new way to interact with the Holy Scriptures.” Leila B., Virginia
