Intermediate Arabic is designed for middle school students without any prior exposure to the Modern Arabic language. Students will learn to write the Arabic alphabet, to form letters into words, and then to form sentences using demonstrative, interrogative, and personal pronouns. Adverbs and basic descriptive vocabulary will also be covered. Students in Intermediate Arabic will learn the modern Arabic language in a simple, easy and fun way!
Rima Zafaran, B.A.
Rima El Chami Zafaran is a Lebanese native speaker, who was born, raised, and educated in Lebanon. She graduated from Balamand University and has taught the Arabic language to a wide variety of age levels for more than 8 years. Rima moved to the United States in 2005. She and her husband, who is a Syrian Antiochian Orthodox priest, have four beautiful children.
Textbook and Materials:
- No Textbook: the instructor will supply classroom materials.
- Students should have notebooks and pencils, as well as a whiteboard for practicing Arabic writing.
