Learning by Heart: 5 Simple Memory Techniques

This mini-course will introduce students to several simple memorization techniques as well as giving them a layman’s understanding of the mental process of memory. Students will memorize a variety of lists, charts, and passages from their current courses. These will serve as an example to them of their own ability to memorize when they use the techniques learned in the class.

Bryan Smith, M. Politics

Bryan Smith 
has been involved in classical schools for over twenty-five years. During his career he has taught history, government, Greek, and art.  He has also served in several key administrative roles — curriculum director, head of school, and vice president of academies. He was the founding headmaster of St. Peter’s Classical School in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a Master of Politics from the University of Dallas.
