Middle School Greek III

Middle School Greek 3 is a transition course to prepare younger students, or those who want a slower pace, to enter CLRC’s high school level Greek 2 course the following year. The class covers the same material as the first semester of Greek 2 in the high school program —chapters 11-15 of Athenaze: An Introduction to Ancient Greek Book I.  Topics covered in the class include the first and second aorist, the imperfect, and -o contract verbs. Relative clauses, comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs, and demonstrative adjectives are also covered.

Middle School Greek 3 is the next step for students who have completed either CLRC Middle School Greek 2 or High School Greek 1.  It is also a good beginning point for students who have had some experience with Greek but may not be quite ready to jump into the faster pace of the full high-school level Greek 2 class.

Students who are unsure of the best class choice should contact support@clrconline.com  to discuss the best placement.

Students should purchase Athenaze: An Introduction to Ancient Greek Book I  (students may use the 2nd, 3rd, or 3rd (revised) editions of the text) and the accompanying workbook.
