High School Russian III

Having completed two full years in the study of Russian language and civilization, students in Russian III will have gained sufficient competence, proficiency, and confidence in the language and cultural literacy to begin to compose their own texts, start their own conversations, and even think independently and freely in Russian.

This course will foster and encourage these skills, and will further develop students' ability to comprehend and interpret complex Russian utterances and texts. We will continue to stay focused on the deeply intriguing and astonishing beauty of Russian history, literature, and culture in order to begin to more fully assimilate the optimal linguistic mindset for navigating this complex and interesting culture.
