Join us this summer as we read interesting excerpts from a mixture of Latin history, letters, and poetry. The course will begin with adapted passages and move to excerpts from authentic Latin literature.

This course is ideal for students have completed the basic Latin Grammar and are just beginning to read and enjoy Latin literature.

The instructor will guide students through close reading of each passage, provide resources for vocabulary, and review important grammar concepts while introducing students to thought-provoking selections from Roman history and literature.  Join us for a fascinating first dip into Latin literature in Latin!
