Summer Latin 4.5

his class is designed for students who have completed a full course of Latin study, the equivalent of CLRC Latin 3, using texts such as The Oxford Latin Course, Wheelock’s Latin, The Cambridge Latin Course, Lingua Latina, or Latin for the New Millennium and plan to take an AP Latin class in Fall 2023.

The course will review and provide practice with grammatical structures including ablative absolutes, indirect statement, case uses, subordinate clauses, gerunds, gerundives, and supines using Excelability in Advanced Latin.  The course will focus on exercises that complement those covered in CLRC’s Latin 4 and AP Latin classes and provide practice for both multiple choice and free response questions on the AP exam.
