Young German young-german-clrc

Hallo, hallo, hallöchen! In Young German, the focus is on a different theme each week. The course features a wide variety of topics to build vocabulary and confidence in speaking - holidays, seasons, telling time, sports, time in nature, travel, and different kinds of foods. Using stories, games, songs, and worksheets students will not only speak, but also read, and write in German. Ms. Nelson will also share pictures and video clips with examples of contemporary life in Germany from her hometown (Freiburg) and surrounding area.

This course uses a playful approach to build confidence as students engage and explore a new language and culture.  It provides ideal preparation for younger students who plan to transition into learning more German or any other foreign language down the road.

No prior experience needed - just a desire to learn and participate with enthusiasm!
